Why "reward-based" dog training?

'Teaching your dog that good things happen when they make good choices'

Reward-based dog training means that you are going to be positively reinforcing your dog with something they like (be that treats, toys or affection) to increase the behaviours you want to see. Positive reinforcement training will make the rewarded behaviour more likely to happen again in the future.
