Hello!

By now, you're probably already familiar with us and what we do (if not, head over to the About Us and Services section of our website to find out more), and for those of you that need a little refresher - I'll include a little "About Us" below.

Here in the dog blog, we aim to provide you with a whole bunch of interesting things to read in your spare time - training tips, guides to dog friendly places, quick games you can play with your dog to improve your bond, our competition thrills and spills and some general dog-life topics!

Myself and Link

So for those of you wanting that little refresher, or you haven't had the chance to pop over to our About Us section on the website, this is me and my best bud, Link. My name is Keavy, and I am Lunar Paws!

I've been in the "dog world" for around 17 years now, growing up around all things dog and having the opportunity to train and compete in a variety of disciplines with my own dogs since I was 7 years old. I love the science behind why dogs do what they do, and I am constantly developing my own knowledge through a variety of different sources - you never stop learning and the information and research in the companion animal industry is continually expanding!

My Dogs (left to right: Emrys, Link and Nico)

I am currently owned by 3 dogs, all male Papillons (aka. butterfly dogs), and I wouldn't change them for the world. They are hands down my favourite breed, although I do have a soft spot for cocker and springer spaniels too! Whilst these guys are only small (weighing roughly 4kg and less than 30cm at the withers), they are full of character and personality.

When I'm not busy caring for all of your pets, you'll usually find me chilling with my boys, on a walk, at training or at agility shows! Link is my current agility dog, having been competing just under 2 years, and is only 1 win away from moving up to the next "level" in competition (we'll save that for another time!).

So, welcome again, and we hope to see you checking back to read our new posts in the future.

For now, I'll leave you with a photo of Link on the seesaw at a recent competition!
