Dog training
Do you find yourself needing help with your dogs training?

We use only positive reinforcement techniques in our training. Positive reinforcement techniques work on the premise of providing something your dog finds rewarding in order to encourage the behaviour to happen again, as the reward influences the behaviour. We will also explain the various ways we can reinforce our dogs behaviour and why aversive techniques should be avoided.
​
Please keep in mind that positive, lasting results take time and dedication to achieve, so we advise that one-off sessions are not enough. Very rarely do canine behaviour or training modifications come with a "quick fix" resolution, and a single session does not typically provide us with enough time to be able to offer you and your canine companion our maximum support and guidance.
​
After each session, we will provide you with a written report including what we went through during the session and the reasons behind as to why and how we approached things the way that we did. We encourage guardians to keep in touch with us between any sessions so that we can keep up with your progress.

Our one to one, reward-based training sessions are available for any guardians needing help and guidance to assist with their dogs training.

We can help you and your dog with a variety of life skills, including topics such as:​ basic obedience skills, recall training, loose lead walking and food manners.​

Training Walks​

Do you often get asked "who's walking who" when you're out with your dog?

Does your dog find walking nicely on the lead hard?

Do you wish your dog had better focus on you when out and about?
If you answer yes to any of the above questions, then our training walks may be for you!
​
After completing our training enqiry form, we will arrange a short meet and greet so that you and your dog can get to know me and vice versa, and we can discuss your requirements. After this, the walks will happen on a weekly basis (4 x 45 minute sessions). During these sessions, I will take your dog out for a walk and work on the things that you need help with. This could be things such as loose lead walking, focus and basic training.
​
You will be provided with a follow-up report after each walk, detailing what has been covered during the walk, as well as a training plan that you will be able to use to continue the training on your own walks.
Between our walks, and from then onwards, it is up to you to continue with your dogs training.
You will still need to train your dog outside of these walks (remember, consistency is key to influence the change in behaviour!), and you are also more than welcome to book another block of walks.

Travel Costs
All services will incur an additional outward journey travel cost, charged at a flat rate of 40 pence per mile.

Cancellations
Full payment will be required if given 24 hours or less notice for a cancellation and the space cannot be filled.
